Today is letter E on the A to Z Challenge. Today my book is, Everlasting (Night Watchmen, #1) by Candace Knoebel. Genre: Romance

What if your destiny lay on the other side of death? The annual Culling ceremony is a day every coming-of-age novice looks forward to within the Primeval Coven. It’s the start to being initiated into the Night Watchmen, humankind’s protectors, and it’s the long-awaited day when novices discover if they’re a Hunter or a Witch. But this day is not a happy one for Faye Middleton. Not when she’s known her whole life that she’s a Defect and is about to face banishment in front of her fellow novices. She’s forced to attend the Culling with little hope for her future, but what she discovers about herself is far worse than she could’ve imagined. And far more dangerous. Thrown into training and separated from her friends, Faye…

Bobby Beckerson was the American All-Star hockey player–he was the spitting image of perfection to his family. Goofy, sweet and undeniably gorgeous, he had everything but the one girl he wanted: River Ahlers.

River Ahlers is successful in everything but love. She’s been in love with Adam Beckerson since they were kids. Worst of all she’s stuck right in the middle of the brother’s dueling over everything and anything, and she doesn’t even know she’s the ultimate prize.

Adam Beckerson was a boy with a guitar, a smile that sunk girl’s hearts and a stone wall around his own. He was anything but perfect, and no matter how hard he tried he was nothing compared to Bobby. Sweet, damaged, with boyish good-looks, nobody thought Adam loved anyone but himself.

Bobby loved River, River loved Adam and Adam only loved himself–or so everyone thought. Then one night everything changes, and as…

Indie Girl Con Deets

12472_10202716071896783_2125254618_n

Hello once again, readers!!!

So I’m back and I’m feeling…well…slightly exhausted. A good kind of exhausted though (if that’s even possible). Indie Girl was a success, and so was the release of Everlasting and From the Embers. But now that I find myself with no immediate deadlines, I don’t quite know what to do. Or write.

I’ve started a novella for the Night Watchmen Series titled The Gramm Curse. It’s going to be told in Jaxen’s POV and it will lead up to the moment he first sees Faye. I’m really excited to be inside his head and to show my readers exactly why he’s so wishy-washy and guarded when it comes to love. I’ve also started the second novel in the Night Watchmen Series which as of right now is titled Evernight, but it’s subject to change.

And with having started both projects at the same time, I think I’ve crippled myself. I usually only write one book at a time. I like to keep all of my creative focus on one project so nothing intermingles in my head, so I’m torn. Which do I work on first? Book two needs to be out soon so the readers can pick back up on Faye’s journey, but I’ve had a lot of requests for a novella in Jaxen’s POV to help understand him better.

Gah.

I’ll figure out…hopefully today because I really need to get back to writing.

But I digress.

Here are some photos from Indie Girl Con and my trip to South Carolina:
