Synopsis:

Being stranded in L.A. wasn’t the best start to Jared Jackson’s music career.

In fact, it should have been the forewarning that things were not what he thought they’d be.

Especially when he’s collected from the airport by the band manager’s sharp-tongued niece.

The draw for Jared is immediate. In his heart, he knows Skylar Murphy is the girl for him. Proving it to

her, however, is a whole other story. As new friendships are forged with his bandmates, Jared learns that the guys

are planning to start their own band, effectively severing their band manager’s control.

With his future in peril, Jared’s dream spirals in a tailspin as secrets and lies sweep him into a dangerous life.

One he wasn’t prepared for… and one he can no longer escape from.

Will Jared rise above the destruction or will his new circumstances be his undoing?

Find out in the next installment of The Six Series, End Note, a new-adult romance.

Are you ready to get sixed?

About Sonya Loveday

authorpic1

Sonya Loveday, first and foremost is a reader, an avid one. It is of that love that brought her to the

realization that this was the answer to the nagging persistent feeling that ‘there’s got to be something more.

The dream came alive in 2009 when she purchased her laptop and began the tedious step of becoming a published author.

10 Things You Don’t Know About Jaxen Gramm

Evernight Blog TourHello once again, readers!

Before I get to the good stuff- the facts about Jaxen Gramm that I know you’re just dying to read- I wanted to give you a few updates on Evernight.

1. Thunderclap- if you haven’t heard of it, it’s a promotional site that helps boost a social media post far and wide. I haven’t tried it before, so I’m not sure how well it works, but I figured I’d give it a go. Basically, I need 100 supporters for the campaign, and on the scheduled day, the post will release at the same time by all 100 followers, giving it a better chance at being seen by viewers.

All you have to do is sign up using one of your social media accounts, and the pre-made post will be posted for you on that day.

Super easy.

Moving on.

2. Facebook Event- I’ve set up the event for the release of Evernight (Night Watchmen, #2), which falls on October 31st. There’s a on-going contest which runs until release day for the person who invites the most friends, so be sure to join and invite. You’ll have the chance to win a signed paperback copy of Evernight (Night Watchmen, #2), a signed Night Watchmen t-shirt, and signed Night Watchmen swag (bookmarks, buttons, & a keychain).

3. Evernight Blog Tour- the blog tour is currently open for sign-ups. Any who post, or want to review, will receive an e-ARC before the release. Please sign up, and thank you in advance!

So you want to know more about the mysterious and somewhat infuriating Jaxen Gramm, ladies? Well, today is your lucky day since I’ve got him in the hot seat, ready to spew some interesting facts about himself that you might not know about from reading any of the Night Watchmen books.

Fact #1- He likes to collect superhero figurines. He had a large collection up until his father died and his mother left them. Now, they’re kept at his grandmother’s house in a box up in the attic.

Fact #2- He likes to read. Anything and everything, fiction and non-fiction, especially if it’s about something that he’s interested in. Gavin used to pick on him when they were little because he was always curled up in a corner reading when their parents were out hunting.

Fact #3- He looked for, and almost found his mother. He caught wind of a rumor right before he was caught up with Faye’s parents that she was living near Salem, Oregon, which is where his family Manor is located. He was never able to follow the lead because of his assignment with Mack.

Fact #4- On the anniversary of the day his father died and his mother left, he takes a shot of whiskey in his room in total darkness.

Fact #5- If not for the curse, he would want to settle down and have three kids. He’s always loved children, he just doesn’t want to bring them into the world, only to lose a parent like he did.

Fact #6- Every year on his birthday, Gavin gives him a pocketknife as a gift. And every year, he puts last year’s knife in the box with his superhero figurines so he can make use of the new one.

Fact #7- His dream job would be owning a fishing boat and making a living off chasing the different open seasons.

Fact #8- The only thing he’s ever failed completely in was home-ec. He can’t cook to save his life.

Fact #9- Out of the many girlfriends he’s had in the past, none of them has ever made it past the two-week mark. None except Faye.

Fact #10- He turned down the chance to enter an art competition for a scholarship in high school because he had his heart set on being a Night Watchmen, so he could uncover the truth behind his father’s death and his mother’s disappearance. The last day of high school was the last day he opened his sketch book. What he drew was a little boy staring at a dark forest with creepy eyes, reaching out to something you can’t quite see.

Roomies by Lindy Zart Cover Reveal

Roomies
r
COVER DESIGN: Sprinkles On Top Studios
GENRE: NA Rom-Com
RELEASE DATE: November 21, 2014
rrGraham Malone is my roommate, my personal eye candy, the reason I get up in the morning smiling (that could be from the illicit dreams I have about him too, I suppose. Let’s move on.). He’s also beautiful to look at, but his heart is where his true beauty lies. Take away the exterior and the interior still shines.
I love him. I mean, I’m pretty sure I do, having never been in love before. Anyway, it seems legit.
And now his brother Blake is here, and, well, he’s the complete opposite of Graham. Sarcastic, brooding, and totally available. But he’s leaving soon, and Graham’s the one I want. I shouldn’t have to remind myself of this, right? I wouldn’t have to if Blake would quit looking at me like I’m something yummy and he’s starving.
Here’s a toast to roomies; the ones you should never fall in love with. Or something.

Book Boyfriend Celebration

CaptureHello once again, readers!

How goes it? Good? Swell?

Awesome.

I should be writing right now. I mean, I am … at least on here, but I should be working on Night Watchmen #3, but instead of following my own rules, I stopped so I could share some semi-exciting news.

o_O

Okay, so, as I was playing around on Facebook (instead of working), I discovered that an awesome reader of mine had recently finished the Night Watchmen books. And she found Jaxen swoon-worthy. So swoon-worthy in fact, that he made her Book Boyfriend list for September.

*Shut Up*

No, I’m serious. He really did. And I couldn’t be more flattered and grateful!

And to make the deal even sweeter, she even included a photo of who she thought Jaxen looked like to her. I about fell on the floor when I saw who, because it’s one of my top three celebrity crushes. Score for me!

Any who, check the post out here: Reading in Sarah’s Corner, so you can see who she chose. And so you can see her awesomeness.

Let me know what you think? Did you picture him the same?

Cover reveal: ‘A Vengeance of Angels’

Beautimous!!

Originally posted on Andrew Toynbee's very own Blog:

This sequel has been a long time coming, but the release date is steadily drawing closer and optimism is growing for a mid-November release.  So different from the release of my first novel, this timetable is holding and everything appears to be on schedule.

‘A Construct of Angels’ – my debut novel – crawled forward in random fits and starts, suffering from a mixture of inexperience and poor planning.

But thanks to my editor, Tara (she of Shaner Media Creations), the timetable she created is keeping me moving steadily forward.

So, in keeping with her timetable, I am now proud to present the cover my second novel, the sequel to ‘A Construct of Angels:’

Seasoned readers will spot many similarities to the first cover. This is deliberate :D

WIP Nomination

Cruise 2014 182Hello once again, readers!!!

Guess what?!

I’ve been away on vacation since September 7th, and only just returned yesterday. I visited Cozumel and had the chance to swim through the underground caverns, Belize- where I took a tour around the Altun Ha Mayan Ruins, Mahogany Bay- where I snorkeled with lion fish and my friends, and Grand Cayman Island- where I stood in the water during the highest tide in sixty years with sting rays swimming into my hands.

In short, it was an amazing experience. I learned so much about these places and myself, and enjoyed the chance to wind down and really enjoy life.

But I digress.

While I was away, I was nominated by Sonya Loveday, my bestie and fellow author, to share the opening sentences from the first three chapters of my current WIP, Evernight (Night Watchmen, #3).

This novel is a continuation in the Night Watchmen Series … obviously.

;)

Book two, Evernight, is currently with the editor getting prepped for its release on October 31st, 2014.

Before I share, I must say that none of these sentences are set in stone. I mean, after all, it is a WIP. Subject to change. And with being as picky and indecisive as I am, I’m sure there might be a change or two in the future.

Any who … here are the sentences:

Sentence 1

Sentence 2

Sentence 3

And scene.

Obviously, I can’t explain what you just read. Especially with book 2 not even out yet.

But it’s coming … muhahaha!

I’d like to thank Sonya for nominating me. This was fun!
