The Caseworker’s Memoirs is Free This Weekend!

Hello once again readers!!! Happy freaking Friday! Hope all is well with you. I am a little sunburnt from being at the beach yesterday, but enjoy the last couple of days before the release of Embracing the Flames!!!

But I digress.

To celebrate his blog reaching its first year of life, the wonderful Dan Thompson has decided to celebrate with his novella, The Caseworker’s Memoirs!! The ebook version is FREE  starting today all the way until Tuesday! Who Are You Again?

Hello once again Readers!!!!!! Like the fan art of Aurora? I think it friggin’ rocks! I have a ton more that I will share with you in another post. I love it. It just makes me feel so giddy inside.

But I digress.

Okay…so I know I have been M.I.A on here. And maybe even that is an understatement. But I swear I have reasons! Valid ones too!

First off, I finished From the Embers (the final book in the Born in Flames trilogy) and submitted that to my publisher. She is nearly finished reading it and waiting on me for a blurb to put into the contract. In the meantime, she had returned her final read through of Embracing the Flames with notes I needed to go over before it could go to formatting.

I went back into the editing cave and closed myself off. That is all I have been doing for the past week. It took me a little bit of time because it’s my last chance to make it how I want it before it lands in your hands. And because I am OCD.

That being said, my read through of Embracing the Flames is complete as of today and it is now back with my publisher being formatted. We are looking at the next two to three weeks for a release date. Can you believe it!? The day is almost near. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, here is the cover of book one and two:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Any who, so now that Embracing the Flames is on its way… I must go back to the formatted print version off Born in Flames and read through it before it gets sent of to the printer. HAPPY FREAKING DANCE!!!! I can’t wait to hold my book! And just in time for the Indie BookFest I will be attending in August.

Deep breath.

It’s all coming together…I just have to learn how to keep up. I am so excited…you just don’t even know.

As for slacking on the blog, I am very sorry. I want to blog so bad, but between taking care of my two-year old, babysitting a three-month old, and finding the time to market, write, edit, and everything else that fits into the job description, well, I’m sure you catch my drift. I’ve discovered I am not Wonderwoman, sadly enough.

There goes that dream. o_O
